STOICISM presented in Sensor Based Sorting and Control (SBSC2016) conference in Aachen Germany

Ms. Adriana Guatame-Garcia (TU Delft) as part of STOICISM consortium, presented the contribution “Integrating LIBS and NIR for detection of heavy metals in perlite ores” at the 7th “Sensor Based Sorting and Control” conference that took place on 23-24 February 2016 in Aachen, (Germany). Her contribution presented the latest research findings on the characterization and processing stages of the perlite ore from various locations in Europe as part of the STOICISM FP7 project.

With around 130 participants from 19 countries, the 7th SBSC-conference addresses new developments and applications in the fields of automated separation and sensor-based control for primary and secondary raw materials. The conference provides a networking opportunity for plant operators, manufacturers, developers and scientists to exchange know-how and experience on various raw materials.
